The Reader Organisation aims to bring about social change by sharing great literature with people of all ages, from all backgrounds, and with all abilities. Through weekly, read aloud sessions, the Get Into Reading model promotes a deeper, more personal engagement with literature and focuses on its practical uses for and in the real world. In other words, it’s about experiencing what literature can do for you. Patricia Canning, a PhD graduate of Queen’s, is the group facilitator and will be delivering the weekly sessions at the Seamus Heaney centre on Thursdays from 12.30 - 2pm.
